Chapter 2: Marriage         

 

This topic deals with an agreement between two parties to establish a bond.

It is based on the natural order of God as a divine institution.

It takes different forms but emphasis is laid on Christian marriage which is meant to be permanent, indissoluble and holy.

Civil and African traditional marriages are discussed as well.

General Objective

By the end of the topic, the learner should be able to appreciate that marriage is a holy institution that should be protected since it is the foundation of the family.
