The second outbreak of hostility against the Christian Jews

 

Just about this time, there was a second outbreak of hostility against Christian Jews of Jerusalem, this time led by Herod Agrippa I. A describes two events which we can date; Herod Agrippa's de -referred to, this being in A.D. 44, and the death of James the broth John, before the death of the king. James, son of Zebedee, was the of the Jerusalem apostles to die for his faith.
